Kevin McCarthy wants to hold the economy hostage by defaulting on our debt unless his cruel demands for slashing veterans’ health care, child care, food assistance, and other programs are met.
The proposed GOP plan would cut the VA budget by 22%, limiting veterans’ access to cancer screenings, mental health services, substance addiction treatment and force veterans to wait longer for the benefits they have earned.
It’s clear, Kevin McCarthy and the House Republicans don’t care about our veterans!
