Senator Kyrsten Sinema and other corporate-funded Democrats have recently made a series of arguments to try to explain why they are personally standing in the way of passing critical voting rights legislation.

Her insane intellectual gymnastics to defend the filibuster — a racist tool that has historically been used to block civil rights — continue even as Republicans openly attack the right to vote with draconian state laws.

Senator Sinema thinks she can gaslight all of us into forgetting that she is defending a filibuster that has been a tool of racism to block progress since its inception.
