They’re referring to misoprostol, the second drug in the two-step medication abortion regimen. Now that anti-choice extremists have laid out a roadmap for challenging FDA approval in federal courts, experts are worried misoprostol will be the next on the chopping block. 

The difference is, while medication abortion can still happen without mifepristone, it CANNOT occur without misoprostol.
