Friend, I’ve worked in national elections for more than 20 years, and I’m here to tell you that we have the makings of a winning campaign.

As an adviser to John Kerry’s 2004 presidential run, I was there when Kerry was polling in single digits in November of 2003. Less than two months later, he won the Iowa caucuses and went on to become the Democratic nominee for president. 

If I’ve learned one thing in politics, it’s that anything can happen. And it almost always does. I know, because I’ve seen it firsthand.
