Longtime friends and readers will remember a book I wrote and released back in 2012 titled, “ReFocus: Living a Life that Reflects God’s Heart.”
The offering was motivated by a desire to encourage Christian believers to engage the culture in both a convicting and loving manner. The hostility facing followers of Jesus Christ is real and rising, and it’s tempting to respond in kind. Our faith calls for us to do the opposite.
In that same spirit, I’m delighted to announce that I’ve decided to launch a new podcast echoing many of these same themes — and I have the privilege of talking with individuals who have a lot to say about the subject.
For the last thirteen years, I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to talk with a wide range of folks on our Focus on the Family daily radio program. We tend to spend the majority of our time talking about marriage and parenting. Broadcast schedules limit the length and depth of those conversations, but the new podcast includes no such restraints and will be concentrating on providing listeners with practical tools for cultural engagement.
Some of my first guests include pastor John Burke, Natasha Crain and Dr. Os Guinness. In the coming weeks you’ll hear from Mollie Hemingway, Arthur Brooks, Joe Dallas and Ryan Bomberger. |
