To no one’s surprise, Donald Trump is using his newly-reinstated social media accounts the same way he did before: to spread lies, incite violence, and threaten elected officials.
Since Facebook replatformed him in January, other companies like Google’s YouTube are following suit, setting a dangerous precedent of normalizing his erratic behavior. Facebook and Youtube are putting their own profits over public safety and we can’t allow this to continue. Will you join us in the fight to get Trump deplatformed again?

Trump was suspended in 2021 after he used his social media platforms to incite a deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, yet he hasn't slowed down sharing extremism and disinformation with his supporters. Accountable Tech’s research found that more than 350 posts over five months from his own platform, Truth Social, fueled violence, spread election lies and promoted domestic terrorist organizations like QAnon.
Here’s what we risk by allowing him back on these platforms:
- Ongoing incitement of violence potentially leading to another Jan. 6 type insurrection
- The viral spread of the Big Lie – and other disinformation intended to cast doubt about the integrity of our electoral system
- QAnon and other anti-government conspiracy theories spreading rampant
Facebook and YouTube have built their brands on the public's affinity for their platforms – yet they continue to harm their users. But together, our voices can send a strong message: You made a mistake in replatforming Trump. Remove him, now. It only takes a minute to sign this petition to remove Trump from Facebook and Youtube permanently.
We refuse to accept putting our democracy at risk is just the cost of business. Facebook and YouTube can and must do better – starting with permanently banning Trump.
