Hi there,
Today’s the day. It’s the Iowa Caucuses.
I joined this race a year ago seeing how the last presidential election had left us in a place of desolation -- Americans were growing exhausted and the country was divided.
But after spending months on the campaign trail talking to millions of Americans, I saw firsthand the resilience of American families and the hope they carry for the future of our country.
And now, in about an hour, Iowans start caucusing for the person they think should be the Democratic nominee. Right now, we’re the best-positioned campaign to win against Donald Trump in the general election, but the challenge we face is making it that far. We’ll need resources and support to keep up our momentum past Iowa.
So first, if you know anybody in Iowa, now is the time to call them and make sure they’re caucusing tonight to help turn the page to what must come next.
And then, if you can, please chip in $10 to help us sprint across the finish line in Iowa, and turn toward New Hampshire in just eight days. [[link removed]]
Americans are hungry for a president and a movement that provides them with a sense of unity, compassion, and guidance, instead of one that taunts us and spearheads divisiveness and cruelty.
The way to win -- to defeat this president and unite our country -- is to bring everybody in. I am asking you to join me with a contribution today, and help us build a future defined not by exclusion, but by belonging. [[link removed]]
Thank you for your support.
