As one of our leading activists, we’re reaching out to ask you if you can host an event in your community this Wednesday to help Reject the Cover Up.

John,

Trump’s enablers in Congress led by Mitch McConnell are about to acquit our lawless president. This was never a trial. It’s a cover up.

This Wednesday, thousands of Americans will mobilize with a simple demand: Reject the Cover Up.

And as one of our leading activists, we’re reaching out to ask if you can join an action in your community to help fight back. Click here to view the map of actions and RSVP to join one near you – or host your own.

Together we will call-out every member of Congress who voted to cover-up Trump’s wrongdoing. We’ll mobilize across the country to clean up our democracy and demand a free and fair election in 2020.

Trump is going to claim victory on Wednesday and take this vote as proof of this innocence. We need to take collective action in the streets to make sure Trump knows that his presidency is a sham.

These actions are a joint project organized by Common Cause, Public Citizen, Stand Up America, Women’s March, Indivisible, March for Truth, By the People, Sierra Club and dozens of more allies who are coming together to protest this decision in every community.

Together, we’ll take action to demand:

Accountability – Trump and the Senators and members of Congress who voted to cover up his crimes will be held accountable by their constituents.

Democracy – Now more than ever, we need to ensure a free and fair election in 2020, which means real election security reform and end to voter suppression.

Reform – Like after Watergate, we demand structural reforms to end the corruption and abuses of power that allowed Donald Trump’s criminal behavior in the first place.

It's up to each of us to speak up for what's right – join an event in your city now >>

Thanks for rising up in this moment,

Tabitha
