Meet Katrina Callsen, our latest New Power endorsee! Katrina’s a Teach for America alum and candidate for Virginia’s House of Delegates, District 54.
Fast Facts:

Katrina grew up in a military family with two working parents who instilled a deeply-rooted emphasis on education. Katrina worked three jobs to pay her way through college before returning to Virginia for law school

She is a Teach for America alumna having taught in underserved public schools after graduating from Yale

Katrina currently serves as Deputy City Attorney in Charlottesville, as well as Chair of the Albemarle County School Board

Katrina represents the best of the servant leaders New Politics supports. With just a few days until early voting starts in Virginia, Katrina needs our help to expand her team’s organizing capacity going into the final weeks. We’re nearly $3,000 to our $10,000 goal!
