I have a quick favor to ask, friend.
The end of this week marks an important end-of-month fundraising deadline for our campaign. To be completely transparent, it’s been a relatively slow fundraising month up to this point. So today, I’m hoping you can help us make up ground.

Here are a couple of things at the top of our minds:
1. The extreme right is ramping up their attacks against me. National Republicans put out yet another misleading press hit attacking me, and far-right sites like Breitbart are running their stories. It’s important that we counter their spin, but communicating with voters takes resources. It costs money.
2. We’ll likely have a new Republican opponent very soon. We’re hearing rumors that a Republican challenger is gearing up to announce. No matter who my opponent is, you can count on far-right, dark money flowing toward attack ads against me.
Looking back, it’s clear that consistent grassroots fundraising was a deciding factor in our close victory in 2022. This time around will be no different. It will be critical for us to meet (and even exceed) our monthly fundraising targets.
Will you chip in a $3 contribution today? We're just a few days away from our end-of-month deadline, and every dollar raised helps us continue fighting the good fight for the people of IL-17.
