The article explains that Cruz, in the phone call, came up with a “scheme to overthrow the 2020 election by blocking the certification of Joe Biden’s win on January 6, then establishing a commission to investigate the nonexistent claims of fraud which would ultimately ‘decide’ who to inaugurate.”
