May 16 - 18, 2023 Advancing Core Advocacy Training in New Mexico Tribal Communities for New Advocates May 16 - 18, 2023 UPDATE: On behalf of CSVANW, we would like to apologize for any technical difficulties that individuals had with signing up for 40-Hour Registration. We have implemented a new system that we need more support with than we anticipated. Because of this, we feel it is necessary to allow folks to register and access this training, while staying on schedule, and will forgot the training fee for this training session. For our future trainings, we will have a sliding scale fee. Thank you for your understanding and patience and we look forward to seeing you at our training! This in-person training is the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women's (CSVANW) 40 Hour-Core Advocacy Training that provides new domestic violence, sexual assault advocates and first responders with state certification across New Mexico and the Four Corners region. CSVANW's 40 Hour Advancing Core Advocacy Training is one of two state certified trainings for new advocates. We aim to help first responders and domestic violence advocates work together effectively in a time of crisis. The May 2023 40-Hour Training will be held at the Arc of New Mexico on May 16-18th from 9 am - 5 pm each day. Advocates must attend all three days of training in order to receive certification. 40-Hour Certification To receive your 40-Hour Certification, you must also complete 16.25 hours of the OVC-TTAC Online Training. When you complete that training, upload your hours to an AirTable link that will be provided at a later date.
