Standing Up for Vets’ Reproductive Rights
A Republican senator wants to block senior military promotions to force the Pentagon to overturn its reproductive care policy that helps servicewomen in states with severe abortion restrictions access the care they need. Making Childcare More Affordable
As a working mom of four, Mikie understands how tough it can be to find good, affordable childcare. She introduced a measure to help address the nationwide shortage by raising childcare workers’ pay and capping the cost of childcare at 7% of families’ income. During the Week of the Young Child, Mikie spoke about her bill and the state of childcare in New Jersey with other lawmakers and early education leaders. [[link removed]]
