It’s official. Joe Biden is running for reelection in 2024.
Whether we’re heading towards a Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump rematch or Ron DeSantis showdown or Mike Pence extravaganza (lol jk), 2024 will be another all-hands-on-deck fight to protect democracy and build the best version of our country.
While we may not know which MAGA extremist will be at the top of the ticket yet, we do know what visions of the future will be competing. All we have to do is look to the states: Free school lunch vs. rolling back child labor laws. Protecting reproductive freedom vs. abortion bans, civil rights protections vs. drag bans, voter access vs. voter suppression, and so much more.
Here’s another thing we know about 2024: those fights won’t just be at the top of the ticket. To re-elect Joe Biden, take back the House, hold onto the Senate, and, perhaps most importantly, win sustainable, long term change at the local, state, and federal level, we’ll need to organize up and down the ballot, starting right now.
You can help build that organizing infrastructure in key states today by donating the No Off Years fund. Your donation will go directly to state-based organizations, so that we can start having conversations with the voters who will decide not only the presidency, but key down ballot races as well.

There’s a lot of work to do to hold onto the White House in 2024, but we want to make sure that we’re not just electing one individual, but building up organizations and relationships that will stick around past November 5th, 2024.
That includes supporting organizations in national battleground states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Nevada, as well as states like California that will be crucial to winning back the House, but also places like Texas, Florida, and Kentucky where we’re not giving up the fight to make inroads long term. Some of our partners include:
- The Michigan Donor Alliance shares funds with organizations that are doing crucial grassroots voter engagement work to deliver wins at every level, from educating voters from the state Supreme Court all the way to the Senate.
- Turn PA Blue, fighting to re-elect President Joe Biden and Senator Bob Casey, but also helping defend PA Democrats’ one-seat majority in the State House and electing Democrats to critical school board seats and to the state Supreme Court.
- Grassroots Dems HQ - The DCCC just released its list of 31 districts in play to take back the House, and eight of those districts are in California. Grassroots Democrats HQ does the critical work of recruiting, training, and mobilizing volunteers at every stage of the campaign.
- Ground Game Texas, Cambio Texas - We can turn Texas blue in our lifetimes, but we are never going to get there if we keep coming in a month before the election: Ground Game Texas, Cambio Texas, and Texas Freedom Network do the year-round, grassroots work that will bring lasting change in the state.

We’ve set a goal of $50,000 by the end of the month, so that we can help build a sustainable progressive movement and enable our partners to plan long-term with a steady revenue stream, instead of waiting around for donations next year, which are less effective compared to money that comes in much earlier in the cycle.
Another great way to get involved right away is by joining the Vote Save America community. We’re talking to voters right now in key 2023 states and laying the groundwork for 2024.
