Ohioans and Americans deserve accountability and transparency in government. It's what ensures that our elected officials are working for the people – not corporations, special interests, or themselves. But right now, we have a problem:

Lawmakers often have access to private information about individual companies and entire industries – information that can directly impact stock prices – and right now, they have free reign to buy and sell stocks. I don't own individual stocks because my job is to serve Ohioans, not a personal stock portfolio – but many members of Congress do, and it's a practice we need to end.

That's why, for years I’ve led the fight to ban members from stock trading, and I just introduced the Ending Trading and Holdings in Congressional Stocks (ETHICS) Act. This act will strengthen government accountability and prevent members of Congress, their spouses, and dependent children from profiting off of their positions for personal gain.

I'm fighting as hard as I can to pass this important legislation and stand up to corruption in Washington – and I need to know you're with me. I'm looking for 20,000 folks to add their voices to this fight by midnight, but your name is still missing, friend. So please:
