In 2015, Donald Trump promised the American people “I’m not going to cut Social Security like every other Republican and I’m not going to cut Medicare or Medicaid.”
Well, John, he lied.
This week Trump proposed a new plan to roll back Medicaid. These new block grants have the potential to destroy our current system and hurt the millions of Americans enrolled in Medicaid.
Not even 50% of Republicans think this plan is a good idea.
In Congress, I will make protecting and expanding healthcare benefits my number one priority. Invest in our campaign and build a government that prioritizes healthcare >>> [[link removed]]
These new block grants could kick millions off of Medicaid and even allow states to pick and choose which prescription medications would be covered.
Trump has shown us once again that he doesn’t care about people — even our most vulnerable communities. And the GOP pick for Montana’s ONE Congressional seat, Matt Rosendale, is happily sitting in Trump’s pocket.
