This Thursday, April 27 the Senate will vote on S.J. Res 4 which would declare that the ERA is "part of the Constitution"
Dear John,
In February, we told you how for the first time in over a decade the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing ([link removed]) about the Equal Rights Amendment. Now this Thursday, April 27th, the full Senate will vote on S.J. Res 4 which would, if passed, declare that the ERA, having been ratified by the required number of states, is already valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution.
Join our campaign to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment by calling on your Senators to vote in favor of S.J. Res 4 ([link removed]) to recognize the equal rights amendment officially as the 28th Amendment.
