After Matthew Kacsmaryk’s 2017 nomination to be a federal judge in North
Texas stalled in the Senate, he made a donation to Josh Hawley — current
U.S. Senator and fellow member of the Federalist Society, a group of
corporate activist lawyers with funders like Chevron, Google, and the
Kochs.

That donation put Kacsmaryk on Hawley’s radar. So in 2019, Hawley pushed
his donor’s confirmation through the Senate — even despite bipartisan
opposition over Kacsmaryk’s Big Brother views on contraceptives and
personal freedoms.

Then, in 2022, a lawsuit was filed in the northern Texas district court to
ban an abortion pill millions have used safely.

The suit was led by Hawley’s wife — and Hawley’s donor was the judge.

But that’s not all.

Earlier this month, Kacsmaryk ruled in favor of the suit — calling for a
near-immediate ban on the abortion drug mifepristone in all 50 states.

And THEN, Hawley used his position as U.S. Senator to demand that the
Supreme Court back his donor’s ruling in his wife’s lawsuit.

These corrupt elites are obsessed with using their own power to control
every aspect of our lives — our bodies, our families, our economic
opportunities — and we can’t afford to let them keep getting away with it.
