Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell designed the whole thing to shield Trump at all costs, working in full coordination with the White House to ensure acquittal.

The Stand Up America community pressured lawmakers for weeks, from texting their constituents to making well over a hundred thousand calls to their offices. But instead of the justice we demanded and clearly deserve, the Senate plans to deliver a pathetic display of blind loyalty to Trump.
