Another dangerous bill is back from the dead. . .

Last year, with your help, we defeated the "Improving Digital
Identity Act," which was being pushed by Senators Cynthia Lummis
(R-WY) and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ).

As you may recall, they couldn't get the votes to pass it as a
stand-alone bill, so they tried rolling it into the National
Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) as an amendment.

But thanks to your petitions, emails, and phone calls, the bill
was ultimately removed from the NDAA.

But now, Lummis and Sinema have reintroduced the bill to take
another crack at your digital privacy - it's S. 884 - and their
scheme has already received a favorable passage through the bill
committee and could be brought up on the Senate floor at any
time.

This bill will create a new federal bureaucracy, an "Improving
Digital Identity Task Force," to lay the groundwork for a Digital
ID scheme - which is also a step down the road to a national ID
system.

Not only that, but a Digital ID is a critical component of the
statists' Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

S. 884 creates and commands a new Task Force to design and
recommend a grant program, which will bribe states willing to
implement the scheme with piles of taxpayer dollars.

States are always quick to accept millions in federal funds, and
too often put the money over the best interests of their
citizens.

The bill also calls for the formation of a public-private
partnership to bring this Digital ID system into being.

The real goal, of course, is a single National ID system to track
everything you do.

If not a National ID, then it's a Unique Patient Identifier or
it's REAL ID. But the desired result is to track your every
movement and your every transaction . . .

Not only does S. 884 advance the authoritarian National ID
scheme, but this bill would pave the way for a Central Bank
Digital Currency, which would mean the end of what's left of our
financial freedom and privacy.

The same people who are proposing a Central Bank Digital Currency
are saying it could be used to control what people could buy with
what they call "programmable money."

The globalists have been salivating at the notion of using a CBDC
for social engineering.

As one central banker put it, "You could think of giving your
children pocket money but programming the money so that it
couldn't be used for sweets. There is a whole range of things
that money could do, programmable money, which we cannot do with
the current technology."

It's revealing the banking elites view the population as unruly
children they need to control.

And the "sweets" they really want to control include firearms . .
. what you drive . . . what you eat . . . the kind of stove or
furnace you use . . . where you live . . . your health care
choices . . .

Sandra Ro, Chief Executive of the Global Blockchain Business
Council, even had the audacity to say a Central Bank Digital
Currency could work like vouchers, with a similar goal of
restricting YOU to buying only what the powers-that-be deem as
"essentials" with YOUR money.

(And would it surprise you to find out that Sandra Ro is a member
of the World Economic Forum's CBDC Working Group? The same WEF
behind the Great Reset!)

But the Central Bank Digital Currency schemes all have one
problem: First, they need a Digital ID.

And that's exactly what the Digital ID Bill, S. 884, would move
forward.

Let's stop this dangerous bill before it takes one step further.
