Dear John,
The first votes of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary will be cast today in Iowa! Ahead of the Iowa caucus, NIAC Action reached out directly to major 2020 Presidential candidates to learn where they stand on two of the top issues for the Iranian-American and pro-peace community. As part of our outreach, we also urged them to make two key commitments: to return the U.S. into compliance with the Iran nuclear agreement and to repeal the Muslim Ban on their first day in office.
Based on their answers and public remarks, NIAC Action created a 2020 Presidential Tracker [[link removed]] that breaks down where these candidates stand on issues important to the Iranian-American community. The tracker also includes the candidates' comments about the threat of war with Iran, deportations of Iranian students, harassment of Iranian Americans at the border, and more.
Take a look at our tracker and tuned for more on these candidates as election season gets underway.
