Administration Appointments

*TOPEKA* –Today, Governor Kelly announced two appointments and one reappointment to the following state boards and commissions. 

*_Kansas Board of Nursing
_*Purpose: This board is charged with protecting the public’s health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Kansas through the licensure and regulation process of the nursing professions.


* Dr. Ruth Burkhart, Edgerton__

*_Kansas Board of Veterinary Examiners
_*Purpose: The mission of the State Board of Veterinary Examiners is to inspect and register licensed veterinarians. 


* Amy Ekerberg, Newton (reappointment)____

*_Autonomous Vehicle Advisory Committee
_*Purpose: Compile a report with recommendations regarding the use of autonomous vehicles.
