Throughout my career as a trial attorney fighting for the working folks in Scranton, I learned a lot about the importance of credibility. They want someone who is going to tell the truth and someone they can trust.

My credibility is the reason why I'm one of only five Democrats to win in a district carried by Donald Trump in 2020 – and the only one in the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Regardless of political party, my constituents can trust that I'll tell the truth and fight for their priorities – and I have the track record to prove it.
In the House, I've introduced dozens of pieces of legislation aimed at helping seniors, military families, veterans, students, workers, consumers, the middle class, and the environment. That's why the Center for Effective Lawmaking named me one of the most effective members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
As your congressman, I'll always tell you the truth and fight for the issues that matter most to you. But I'm in for another tough race – election experts are calling this race a "toss-up." That's why Republican groups have already started running attack ads lying about my record – even claiming I want to cut Medicare. I need your help to ensure we have the resources to fight back and let the people of PA-08 know I always have, and always will, stand with them.
