We’re putting the finishing touches on all things LIB2023 and can’t wait to welcome thousands of Liberals in Ottawa from May 4-6!

In recent weeks, we’ve hosted numerous Forward to Lib2023 events in the lead up to convention to facilitate grassroots conversations with Liberals across the country – we’re excited to continue these conversations with you in the days and weeks ahead.

Whether you’re looking forward to training at the Team Trudeau Hub, hearing from keynote speakers, or voting in the elections and open policy process – there’s something for all Liberals!

VOTING

The 2023 Open Policy Process vote will happen in two sections. There will be an electronic vote narrowing down the top 20 to the top 10 resolutions on Friday, May 5th. These resolutions, along with the fast-track resolutions will be presented at the Policy Plenary on Saturday May 6th. Convention attendees will receive voting information via email Friday, May 5th.

The ranking of the top 15 Liberal Party of Canada Policy Resolutions and the elections for the National Board of Directors and National Commission Executives will take place electronically on Saturday, May 6th. Voting stations will be located at the Convention Centre.

JUDY LAMARSH COCKTAIL RECEPTION The 2023 Judy LaMarsh Cocktail Reception will take place on May 5th. Financial support is still a huge barrier for many women considering a run for office – and the Judy LaMarsh Fund helps to offset those costs for Liberal women candidates. RSVP  ➜ IPC BREAKFAST Join us for the IPC Breakfast on May 5 hosted by the Indigenous Peoples’ Commission. The Indigenous Electoral Endowment Fund was created to encourage Indigenous communities to become more involved in the electoral process, and assists with recruiting more Indigenous candidates and helping them get elected. RSVP  ➜ SENIOR LIBERALS’ COMMISSION 20TH ANNIVERSARY This can’t-miss event during Convention weekend is completely free to attend! A wine and cheese reception is planned to celebrate this important milestone. Hope to see you there! YOUNG LIBERALS OF CANADA/LPC(Q) PUB NIGHT Taking place at Lowertown Brewery, this event is an excellent opportunity to network and engage with Liberals from across the country.
