I won't give you a lecture on the stakes of the 2024 presidential
election, or a laundry list of reasons why a Trump or DeSantis presidency
would be so dangerous for our country...
Instead I'll leave you with optimism for a second term of the Biden
presidency. At the State of the Union earlier this year, some of my
favorite moments included President Biden talking about continuing our
work to hold big corporations and billionaires accountable. From cracking
down on stock buybacks to creating good-paying jobs, he reminded us that
we can—and we must—build an economy that works for working people.
Capitalism can and should be about lifting up workers. But we need elected
leaders in every corner of government who are fighting on behalf of
families, not big corporations.
That starts with making sure we re-elect President Biden and support the
work his campaign will do across the country to uplift Democrats up and
down the ballot.
