Dear Friend,
“Action!” As an actor and producer, my days often revolve around that word. But action means a lot to me off set as well.
I’ve said before that “Action is the antidote to apathy and cynicism and despair.” That is why I was proud to join AU’s Rachel Laser for the Summit for Religious Freedom and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., yesterday. Because I believe that if we all take action together, we can make a future where our country is more just, more equal, and more inclusive — and that starts with us recommitting to keeping church and state separate. But it does not end there.
I have taken AU’s One Nation, All Beliefs pledge because separation of church and state is the foundation of religious freedom in the United States. And now I am asking you to take further action — by making a gift to AU today in support of their work defending this core American principle: [link removed]
Keeping government out of religion protects every American’s right to live as themselves and believe as they choose. That core value underpins all of our most precious rights and freedoms, including reproductive freedom, LGBTQ equality and access to inclusive public education.

I passionately believe that if you infuse your life with action, you can make your own future. So, let's continue to be the active heroes our country needs right now. Donate to AU and help fight back against the shadow network powering un-democratic and un-American religious extremism nationwide: [link removed]
Together, we can make things happen. Together we can make our own hope.
Love to all,
Bradley Whitford
