Hi there,

So far this year, state legislators have introduced more than 150 bills attempting to limit voting access. These bills range from instituting strict voter ID requirements to limiting access to vote by mail to making it easier to overturn election results. Each is another example of the urgent crisis facing our democracy.

Vote Forward’s mission is to strengthen our democracy by helping volunteers encourage their fellow citizens to vote. As lawmakers across the country create barriers to voting, this community of letter writers is doing tremendous work to counteract these anti-democratic efforts. Our democracy is strongest when everyone participates—and when we write letters together, we’re encouraging millions of potential voters to make their voices heard.

The efforts to undermine our democracy aren't stopping anytime soon, so it is critical that our work continues to strengthen and scale in response.

We’ll have more letters to voters available to write this year, but in the meantime, [you can help our small team do the research, analysis, and campaign building necessary to support and improve future letter writing by making a contribution to Vote Forward]([link removed]).
