Dear SW1H 9HQ,
We go into the summer with a new Prime Minister and in the interests of the country I wish him well. Of course a change of Prime Minister does not change the issues facing us, with Brexit still to be resolved. My fervent hope is that we do reach a conclusion by the end of October, so that we can get on with the many other things we need to do as a country.
Below you can see a number of the issues I have taken up in recent weeks on behalf of people in and around Ashford. I hope you enjoy a relaxing August.

Unsurprisingly, much of the Parliamentary business still is Brexit-focused. As ever, by clicking on the button below you can read some of the contributions I have made to debates and questions in recent weeks.

Around Ashford

As the local MP for Ashford, I am able to meet many people, businesses and groups to talk about things that are Ashford-related and issues that matter to them.
The last couple of weeks have been interesting. As we approach the completion of the upgraded Outlet Centre, we should notice a reduction in road works in the area.
Summer is great in many ways, it brings the Kent County show and the hundreds of local producers to work all year round.
As the centre of Ashford continues to grow, I was very pleased to pull a pint in the new Curious Brewery.
Although not in Ashford, climate change and pollution has hit our news headlines recently, and I was proud to have taken part in the climate Change rally in Westminster alongside constituents from Ashford.
