GOP book bans reach new level as Missouri lawmakers push to defund libraries

Lately, the GOP has become OBSESSED with banning books with ideas they don't like... and this latest news is downright SCARY, friend!

First, Texas lawmakers tried to ban a library that wouldn't remove books from the shelves – and now, the Missouri GOP wants to withdraw ALL funding from public libraries that refuse to censor books they don't like. 

Libraries are places where everyone, regardless of income or previous education, can get the resources they need to learn something new and expand their horizons. This GOP anti-library crusade is nothing but blatant censorship and an attempt to take resources away from those who need them most.
