Hello,
In this week's edition, I discuss how experiencing the world allows you to test your ideas and make decisions. Dr. Naomi Wolf and I talk about the demise of the Left from liberalism to Marxism, and I take a look back in the archives to my conversation with Dr. Miriam Grossman regarding the horrific yet true story behind the Reimer twins.

Advice
Have Adventure To Discover Your Thoughts
You really only straighten out your thoughts when you have Impulse A and Impulse B, and they conflict at the same time, and you can either do one or the other but not both. If it is A today and B tomorrow, you can hold those ideas simultaneously. But if it is A or B right now, then you have to decide: Is A more important or is B more important? You have to put them in a hierarchy. Then you have to act them out, and you have to see what happens. You find out if you are full of contradictions.
Part of the way you iron out your contradictions, which is very, very hard to do, is that you go out and you do a whole bunch of things in the world, like Socrates did. You have your adventure in the world, and you put your ideas to the test. Those that work out in a paradoxical or counterproductive manner you dispense with or put lower on the priority list. That is how you discover that you cannot hold incommensurate views simultaneously. Carl Jung said something like, "Paradoxical views that are not made conscious will be played out in the world as fate." That is really worth thinking about.

Exposure Therapy, Radical Transformation, and Embracing Reality
It definitely appears to me that the story of the Passion is an archetypal and foretold tragic catastrophe, and I’ll explain the foretold part later. It is an archetypal catastrophe because it melds all the worst things that could happen to a person in their life. It is death, but it is knowledge of certain death, associated with death. Then it is youthful death, and it is youthful death at the hands of the mob. And it is youthful death at the hands of the mob despite innocence, despite the mob knowing of innocence — in front of the mother.

The Demise Of The Left: From Liberalism To Marxism | Naomi Wolf | EP 351
Naomi Wolf and I discuss her original ambitions, the derailment of her scholarly career at the hands of misogyny, her rise to the forefront of third wave feminism as a best-selling author, and how the mainstream turned on her once she wrote on a topic the Left had blacklisted: COVID-19.

Dr. Miriam Grossman and I walk through the horrific yet true story behind the Reimer twins. The atrocity of their upbringing, branded as a successful experiment by Dr. John Money, was used as the bedrock of gender and identity ideology that has captured the Western world today.
