We have important news that I had to get to you right away: a shadowy out-of-state dark money group associated with pro-abortion group Emily’s List has targeted our campaign with $1.2 million dollars in negative and misleading television ads.

Our opponent, who just moved into the South Texas/RGV district just 7 months ago, has already received approximately $650,000 in dark money directly to her campaign and has refused challenges to disclose the origin, employer, or amount for thousands of contributions.

Let’s not forget that only 1.4 % of her donations come from the 28th district. Yes, that’s right only 1.4%.  And 98.6% of her donations come from out-of-state donors or through dark money.

This is completely outrageous. We will not let loud voices from Brooklyn and the Bronx define the Border.

We can fight back with our positive message but not without your help. Please stand up to them today and contribute to our rapid response fund so we can set the record straight.

Urgency is key – the sooner we have additional rapid response funds – the sooner we can fight back.  We need to raise $10,000 in the next 72 hours to withstand the coming attacks.
