Dear John,
We're excited to announce our upcoming Learn and Grow Series: Strengthening Black and BIPOC Entrepreneurship Serving CDFIs [[link removed]]. This three-part series aims to provide insights and strategies for small to mid-size BIPOC entrepreneurship serving CDFIs to overcome financial constraints and build long-term financial and programmatic planning.
The first webinar in the series, Leveraging Capital for Community Impact: Overcoming Financial Constraints in CDFIs, will take place on May 3, 2023, from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm ET [[link removed]]. Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) play a critical role in providing financial services to underserved communities. However, financial constraints often limit their ability to meet the community's needs. This webinar will kick off our Learn & Grow series and we'll discuss methods to mitigate risk, match opportunities to diversified funding sources, and build relationships with funders, investors, and community partners. By the end of this session, participants will have a better understanding of how effectively using capital can contribute to CDFIs' larger impact in advancing racial economic equity.
