Team,
Ground Game Texas has never been afraid of an important fight. That’s why in El Paso we’re taking on some of the biggest companies in the world to deliver climate action.
The El Paso Climate Charter is a groundbreaking initiative that would create jobs, boost the economy, promote conservation, and make El Paso a model for tackling the climate crisis.
But to pass this initiative, we have to take on some of the biggest companies in the world—companies like JP Morgan, which controls the utility company, and ExxonMobil, which is funding the campaign against us.
That’s why we need your support. We believe people are more powerful than profits. Can you chip in $25, or whatever you can, to help us take on Big Oil and the corporate giants trying to block climate action?
Team, nearly 40,000 El Pasoans signed our petition to bring the El Paso Climate Charter to a vote. El Pasoans know better than most the urgency around tackling the climate crisis—from scorching heat, to diminishing groundwater, to severe droughts and floods.
But if we’re successful in passing the Climate Charter, El Paso can become a model for creating jobs, boosting the economy, and tackling this crisis head-on. The well-financed corporate giants like JP Morgan and ExxonMobil are spending thousands to defeat us—but we have the power of people.
Thank you for being in this fight.
Best wishes,
Ground Game Texas
