April Membership Meeting Tonight in HB!

Huntington Beach is leading the charge on a Republican revival in Orange County, and there is a lot to be learned from Mayor Tony Strickland, Mayor Pro-Tem Gracey Van Der Mark, Councilman Casey McKeon, and City Attorney Michael Gates.

In November 2022, the people of Huntington Beach shocked the political world by electing a slate of four community-first, conservative candidates, flipping a 5-2 Democrat majority city council to a 4-3 solid Republican majority. Since the election, the new council majority has gone full steam ahead on fulfilling campaign promises and returning Huntington Beach back into the hands of the people.

Enjoy some drinks and appetizers while networking with fellow young conservative professionals and engage with local Republican leaders and activists at one of the hottest new restaurants in the county. This month, we'll be talking about elections and activism, and what the future holds for Orange County Republicans.

River Channel Cleanup this weekend!

With the winter storms we've had over the last several months, trash from throughout Orange County runs down channels and into our oceans posing a threat to the safe use of our beaches and critical wildlife systems. To combat this, Senator Janet Nguyen and the Surfrider Foundation of North Orange County are hosting a river channel cleanup.

Part of our mission as Orange County Young Republicans is to dig deeper, and engage our community beyond just politics. Let's serve!
