Hello partners,

On behalf of Consumers First, we invite you to join us in signing a joint statement to submit for the record for the upcoming House Energy and Commerce Committee Health Subcommittee’s hearing on legislative solutions to lower health care costs.

The legislative hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 26, at 10am ET, and the Subcommittee plans to look at specific legislation around price transparency, site neutral payments, and other important policies to reduce health care costs.

This hearing follows a previous Subcommittee hearing on March 28 where they explored the themes of transparency, competition, and affordability. It’s clear that after years of advocacy and collaboration to bring more attention to these issues, momentum is building in Congress to address health care pricing abuses and improve affordability, and it's time to keep up the pressure.

The letter sign-on form can be found here, and will close at 4pm on Tuesday, April 25. The full letter is included in the sign-on form, but can also be found here.

Please reach out to Jane Sheehan at [email protected] with any questions.

Thank you,

Mike Persley
