The School Board Forum is happening TONIGHT at 6:30pm at the Hickory Room at Lubber Run Community Center.
AYD and the ArlDems AAPI, Black, & Latinx Caucuses are jointly hosting this event ahead of the school board caucus in May so that we may hear about the candidates' plans and positions.
There are currently two candidates in the race: Miranda Turner and Angelo Cocchiaro. Both of these candidates are vying for the endorsement of the Arlington Democrats to be the nominee for school board in the November elections. And the school board caucus where Arlington Democrats will choose the candidate for endorsement is happening in just two weeks on May 7th, 10th, and 13th -- so be sure to come out tonight and get to know the candidates before you cast your vote!
