Hi John,

An encouraging proposal will be voted on by the House on Tuesday that would help more high school seniors achieve a diploma. Time is running out to help the Class of 2023 and they need your voices.

Rep. Massullo has filed an amendment that would allow more options for students to pass tests needed to satisfy missing graduation requirements. These options had previously been in place and were how many students found success, but the legislature eliminated them for the Class of 2023. The Alliance believes students should have as many pathways as possible to a high school diploma and restoring these options is one way to support students who have experienced so much disruption to their education due to the pandemic.

Use our online tool to easily contact your representative, senator and the governor. Tell them to support the Class of 2023 and make this simple change.

Take Action below to send them an email, tweet and/or give them a call in just two simple steps.

Thank you so much,

-All of us at the Alliance
