REGISTER Registration closes on Thursday, April 27 at noon.    Arlington Chamber Volunteer Day Recap Thank you to everyone who joined us last week at our Annual Arlington Chamber Volunteer Day! More than 200 volunteers came together to complete various projects for 15 local nonprofits. Projects included gardening, cleaning and organizing sites, trash collection, painting classrooms, making food baskets, and much more. After the morning projects were completed, the Volunteer Day Celebration and Lunch was held for all participants at Arlington Community Federal Credit Union. Make sure to check our our Facebook album, and tag yourself in our Volunteer Day photos!   School Board Candidates at Education and Workforce Committee Meeting Tuesday, April 25 | 3:00-4:00 p.m. | Virtual The Education and Workforce Committee will be hosting a candidate forum for the School Board at their upcoming meeting on Tuesday, April 25. Both candidates for the open School Board seat, Miranda Turner and Angelo Cocchiaro, will be joining the Committee, answering questions from both the Committee Chair Dr. Liza Durant and from members. Both candidates are running in the Democratic caucus, which will be held from May 7 to May 13 to select the candidate that will be on the general election ballot on November 7. All members of the Chamber are welcome to join this committee meeting.
