WHAT:??Public Accuracy Test for the electronic equipment to be used in the Oakland County Absent Voter Counting Board for the May 2, 2023 Election

WHY:??The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to verify the accuracy of the tabulation of votes.

"I encourage all to come and attend, especially those who question, doubt, or don't trust our election process to see this important transparent step that ensures our elections are accurate and secure,? said Oakland County Clerk/ Register of Deeds Lisa Brown. ?If you can't make it today, we will be publicly testing our equipment before the August and November elections this year as well.?

The Oakland County Elections Division will be tabulating absentee ballots for the City of Berkley, which has a city millage proposal before voters, as well as for the Charter Township of West Bloomfield, where voters will consider a school district bond proposal.
