Our community will find this guide helpful for naming, framing, defining and understanding the complex issues of race, ethnicity and culture while reviewing how they shape racial economic equity.
Highlighted sections within this guide include guidance around:
The use of grammar and a suggested choice of termsBest practices for representing diversity and design guidelines on how to visually depict diverse communitiesKey differences between bridging the racial wealth divide and strengthening individual economic stabilityGuidance for navigating the complexity and nuances between racial economic equity and racial equity
The Communicating on Race and Racial Economic Equity [[link removed]] guide contains lessons learned and emerging practices identified by working in partnership with grassroots organizations. Our goal is to enable advocates for economic justice to effectively communicate about, and to address, the racial wealth divide while advancing racial economic equity.
