Exposing anti-abortion fake clinics is an act of community care and love, so what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than a direct action?

Everyone deserves the right to receive medically accurate information about so they can make informed decisions about their health. Yet throughout the DMV, fake clinics work to dissuade pregnant people from seeking abortions by spreading shame and misinformation. There are more than 2,500 of these fake clinics in the United States (check out our Fake Clinic Database here), and many receive state and federal funding. Often, these clinics go unchecked, and continue to promote anti-abortion ideology in our communities.

It's on us to demand accountability and expose fake clinics in our community. We plan on protesting outside of a fake clinic and flyering with information about where people can access real abortion care and parenting resources.

Join NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, Reproaction, and the Falls Church Healthcare Center for a Valentine’s Day card making party! Together, we'll get into the spirit of the season by crafting our own valentines and thank-you notes for our pro-choice legislators while spreading love for reproductive freedom.

With reproductive rights under threat from the Supreme Court, now, more than ever before, is the time for us to show public officials that reproductive freedom is a priority for Virginians.
