‘Februdairy'? No thank you!

February marks the end of Veganuary – and this year was the biggest yet! However, those with animal-farming interests have attempted to jump on the back of this by trying to promote dairy. But the dairy industry is horrifically cruel to the cows, goats, sheep and other animals confined to it, and there are so many dairy-free alternatives available, there is simply no need for it!

Help animals and the planet, ditch dairy and try vegan – order a free guide to going vegan now!

Kellogg’s under growing pressure to increase vegan range!

Our joint petition with Herbivore Club has exceeded 3,000 signatures. Currently, the vitamin D used in most Kellogg’s cereals is derived from lanolin, which comes from sheep’s wool. By switching to a vegan version, many of their cereals will be vegan without having an impact on taste or quality.

Please sign the petition today, if you haven't already.

CCTV recommendation for Welsh slaughterhouses

We’re delighted that The National Assembly for Wales Petitions Committee has presented a report which strongly recommends that the Welsh Government introduces mandatory CCTV for all Welsh slaughterhouses. This is in response to an Animal Aid petition to the Senned started in 2012.

The Welsh Government has previously cited lack of evidence of welfare breaches in Wales as reason for their failure to legislate. The report provides ample evidence of the need for CCTV.

Big thanks to the 4,000 people who have now lobbied the Welsh Government to take urgent action. Join them in taking action now, if you haven't already!

Help to highlight dangers faced by horses

Cheltenham Racecourse is one of Britain’s most deadly. It is home to the notorious Cheltenham Festival (10-13 March 2020). Three horses died at last year’s Festival, and seven the previous year.

It is imperative to let the public know how dangerous this event is for horses, so please order some of our new leaflets and distribute them (outside your local train station or in your town centre) ahead of the event.
