John — Tate Reeves is out-of-touch with the real Mississippi.
On the left, you have Tate Reeves, a man born with a silver spoon in his mouth, a millionaire daddy, and powerful connections.
On the other hand, I grew up in a no-stoplight town. My childhood wasn't easy — my daddy was murdered when I was in third grade and my mama worked hard not to let my sister and me feel as poor as we really were.
When Tate Reeves launched his very first campaign, his wealthy daddy bankrolled his campaign with his money and contributions from his powerful special interest friends. He had it easy. And nothing has changed since.
But me? I’ve had to work for it.
I bust my tail to connect with folks, meet voters where they’re at, and get them real results. That’s how I was elected as Mayor of Nettleton at 24 years old with 78 percent of the vote. Today, I proudly serve as a Public Service Commissioner.
The biggest difference between Reeves and me is pretty clear. He doesn’t know what it’s like to struggle like too many in our state do every day. He prioritizes special interests over the people of our state because that’s all he knows. On his watch, 220,000 working Mississippians are without healthcare and he hasn’t fixed the Jackson water crisis.
And let's not forget that Reeves is currently caught up in the middle of the worst public corruption scandal in Mississippi history.
On the other hand, I've delivered high-speed internet for families, cut taxes twice, stood up to special interests, and saved taxpayers over six billion dollars.
I'm ready to lead Mississippi forward and send Reeves packing, but I can't do it without your support. With our first major statewide filing deadline coming up, every donation counts. Can you chip in any amount to help us crush our critical fundraising goal?
Thank you for your support!
