We’ve been on Team Tammy since Day 1. In 1992, she ran for Wisconsin Assembly – and was one of our inaugural endorsements. She fought like hell and won, becoming one of just six out LGBTQ+ candidates to win that year and the first out LGBTQ+ person ever elected to the Wisconsin legislature. And she didn’t stop there, becoming America’s first out LGBTQ+ U.S. Senator.

As Tammy always says, “When you are not in the room, the conversation is about you. But when you are in the room, the conversation is with you.” From expanding health care access to passing landmark LGBTQ+ legislation, Senator Baldwin moved conversations on equality – and we know she’ll keep doing it once she’s reelected.
