Anti-abortion radicals are doing everything in their power to revoke access to the most common form of abortion care by attacking medication abortion through the court system. But some leaders are fighting back.
Some Democratic governors (including Jay Inslee and Maura Healey of Washington state and Massachusetts) have ordered their states to stockpile the abortion pill mifepristone.
John, this is exactly the kind of action we need to see from officials who pledge to stick up for reproductive rights!
People across the country are suffering under cruel, authoritarian abortion bans, and more and more red states are considering restrictions. Meanwhile, there is an ongoing legal fight over the status of mifepristone as extremists attempt to abuse the court system to ban it.
RIGHT NOW is the time for politicians who ran on defending our rights to put up or shut up. They must act boldly to secure abortion access everywhere they can.
