We’re just 13 days away from May 6, Election Day in El Paso for the groundbreaking Climate Charter and early voting starts TOMORROW.

For years, Sunrise El Paso, Ground Game Texas, and organizers on the ground have been fighting hard to get the El Paso Climate Charter — a first-of-its-kind climate justice project that would establish a Green New Deal program in our border community of El Paso, Texas — across the finish line. And all of their work is about to come to fruition in just 13 short days.

We have the opportunity to usher in a new future in El Paso built on climate justice and an end to Fossil Fuel reliance. And throw a wrench into the operations of the biggest oil field in the US!! The people of El Paso are with us and ready to win a Green New Deal for El Paso.

But we’re up against the multi-billion dollar Big Oil and Fossil Fuel corporate machine in Texas — their literal backyard. They’re spreading disinformation and using their millions to try to squash our people-powered movement and we can’t do this alone, John.
