Hi Friend,

Did you know that Tuesday, April 25th is the First House Passage deadline in the Nevada Legislature? That means bills must advance out of their house of origin to survive and have the chance to become enacted into law!

So many critical measures have already crossed over to the Second House but Assemblywoman Considine’s bill, AB250, to lower drug prices for ALL Nevadans, has yet to be voted on in the Assembly Floor!

This is where you come in, Friend. Can we count on you to contact your Assemblymember and tell them that it’s time to vote YES on AB250? We’ve only got 2 days left before the deadline and can’t let this bill slip through the cracks!

Research shows that there’s bipartisan support for setting price limits on the necessary and life saving prescription drugs that Nevadans need to stay healthy. In fact, nearly 9 out of 10 voters support this measure because no Nevadan should have to pay more than the price Medicare sets for its purchases.

Friend, there’s so many ways for you to show support for affordable Rx drugs for ALL Nevadans:

  • Submit your opinion on NELIS: To submit an opinion on a bill, log in with your Nevada Legislature account, go to the Bill Number Page, find the bill you are interested in submitting an opinion on (AB250), click on the bill's name to go to the bill's Overview tab, scroll to the bottom of that tab, find and then click the "Submit Opinion or View Opinion Stats" link.
  • Show your Assemblymember the research: Numbers don’t lie and the numbers show that Nevadans overwhelmingly support setting price limits on
Rx drugs! Click here to tell the #NVLeg that it’s time to vote YES on AB250.
  • Call your Assemblymember: Our elected officials work for us and it’s important that they hear from you! Call them and tell them why you think it’s important to make Rx drugs affordable for ALL Nevadans.

With your help, we know that we can get AB250 across the finish line!

Fighting for affordable Rx drugs with you,
