I know it’s Sunday, and like me, you probably have a busy day ahead. So I’ll keep this short.

I’m reaching out to ask if you can make a donation to my re-election. Here’s why:

We had a slower start to our fundraising this month than we had projected in our budget. So now, we’re trying to make up some ground to make sure we have the resources to invest early in our campaign’s organizing operation.

The magic of this campaign is if enough people give just what they can, then it will add up quickly. In fact as you read this, someone else has already pitched in their first donation, and another person is about to pitch in something else.

Can they count on you to join them? If you can spare a donation of any amount that makes sense for you today, it would go a long way and help ensure we don’t come up short.
