Friend, in 2022, with the odds stacked against us, Democrats made history by holding down and expanding our Senate majority. After the conservative Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June, and Republicans started threatening a national abortion ban, we knew we couldn't rest for a second.
Now, the GOP has taken back the House, and they're using their power at every level of government to attack our fundamental rights. Just earlier this month, a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas overturned FDA approval of mifepristone, the most commonly used method of abortion in America.
And now, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill to ban abortion after just six weeks – a point at which most women don't even know they are pregnant.
We need to get to work today if we want to have a chance at protecting our reproductive rights and holding Republicans accountable for their blatant attacks on our fundamental freedoms.
Our membership numbers will help determine whether or not we're able to keep control of the Senate and the White House and flip the House to stop a national abortion ban. I need you to stand with me and American Bridge to defeat the Republicans who are on a warpath to ban abortion nationwide.
