Today is Earth Day, a time to appreciate the great outdoors and recommit ourselves to preserving our environment and the clean air and water that we can often take for granted.

Gabe prides himself on being an outdoorsman and conservation champion. Before he was elected to Congress, he advocated for the preservation of our public lands and helped young people access and enjoy our time-honored traditions in the outdoors like fishing, camping, hunting, and more.

Now, he’s keeping up the fight for our environment in Congress by taking action on climate change, pushing back against Big Oil and Gas CEOs, proposing greater protections for the Gila River, and making sure New Mexico is resilient in the face of water shortages.

Meanwhile, the GOP are trying to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act in their debt ceiling package, which would mean devastating cuts to renewable energy credits and other efforts to help states cut their greenhouse gas emissions so we prevent the worst impacts of climate change. If our far-right opponent defeats Gabe next year, this is what you can expect from her.
